The CupCycling Story

Extract was created through GF Smith’s CupCycling process, which separates usable paper fibre from the plastic lining of disposable coffee cups — a waste stream that is notoriously difficult to recycle. Extract incorporates fibre recovered from used disposable coffee cups through the CupCycling process, giving those cups a second life as premium creative paper rather than sending them to landfill or incineration.

The finished paper contains approximately 20% CupCycled fibre alongside virgin paper fibre, is uncoated and recyclable as paper. FSC Mix certification applies to the range.

Printing & Finishing

Extract Coral Red is suited to a wide range of printing and finishing methods. For home inkjet printing, use a manual or rear feed tray, select a premium or heavyweight-paper setting, and test a sheet before production. White, gold, black and cream inks or foils contrast beautifully with the coral-red base — note that printed colours will be influenced by the warm red ground.

For professional finishing, Extract Coral Red is well suited to:
