Printer Compatibility

Imitlin Metal Pearl White is highly suitable for printing, but your results will depend on the type of printer you use. Because it has a shimmering coated surface and a textured E21 Silk embossing on one side, it behaves differently to standard paper.

Laser printers (recommended): Laser printers generally perform best on this paper. Heat fuses dry toner directly onto the coated surface, delivering sharp text and crisp graphics that won’t smudge or bleed.

Inkjet printers (use with care): Most home inkjets will work, but patience is required. Because the pearlescent coating reduces paper porosity, wet ink cannot absorb quickly — ink may pool or bleed slightly. Allow sheets to dry completely (sometimes several hours) before handling to avoid smudging.

Tips for best results:

• Print on the right side: The E21 Silk emboss is on one side only — the reverse is plain white/cream. Load the paper carefully so you’re printing on your preferred side.
• Adjust your paper type setting: Change from “Plain Paper” to Heavyweight, Cardstock, or Glossy/Coated. This slows the feed and adjusts heat or ink deployment for better results.
• Feed manually: Avoid stacking sheets in the main tray. Feed one sheet at a time through the manual bypass tray to prevent jams.
• Test first: Always run a single test sheet before committing to a full print run.
